Building a Strong Community

It takes a village to raise a child. We are all on the same island as one village.

What I love most about Kauai is the community. People you know are everywhere you go. It’s hard to pop in to Walmart or Costco without seeing an ex classmate, coworker, fellow church member, or a guy you picked up hitchiking a few months ago.

We all draw benefits from the community. Watching the fireworks on the 4th of July, watching the Lights on Rice parade and Tropic Care are just a few of the things that are provided by our community.

There are a lot of great things happening on Kauai for the community. Not everything is for everybody, but being a part of what’s happening here is something you should consider being a part of.

Part of our mission is to share what’s happening on Kauai that benefits and preserves our culture.

This is where we’ll share events that you can attend, programs you can enroll in, and ways you can serve the community. Community postings are provided so you can know what’s happening and get involved if you choose to.
